SENT UP. --- On last Saturday night one Narciso Roderigues (one of that unfortunate family) chose to commit an unprovoked assualt upon Alex. Scott (a colored barber) at Brown's saloon, in Santa Cruz. He was tried before Justice Montgomery, found guilty and fined $25, and not having the cash, was sent to jail to eat and sleep it out. |
