It was a good find on John Henchy in the 1898 Great Register. So he was a "Saloon Keeper" here then. I wonder if it was in Capitola or Soquel.

Well, Like Nick Neary, he was a good ole' hard drinking Irishman with a taste for "Old Bushmill Whiskey" and Poteen....

How long was Henchy in Santa Cruz?
Where else did he live?
What was his connection to Neary?
Did he buy Neary's land just to get the site for the Roadhouse?
He must have liked the view, in that the front of the house flares forward to take advantage of it.
The Carriage house with the drive-through doors is now on the property line.
When Henchy owned the property, did he access 38th from the back doors.
There is now access to the property from Mona Way.
Was this an arrangement for access when the property was sold off?
The Peterson owned much of the original Henchy property.
How did they sell it off?
When Peterson’s sold to the Nausland's how much did they keep.
Did they sell the Ocean side lots and houses separately?
Did they build the condos towards 41st, or did another party?
Did Hinchy build the Barn or did it predate the Roadhouse.
Ron Peterson took a picture of a door in the Barn with Neary’s name on it.
Could the two buildings be carbon dated to see how old they are, or is that not precise enough?
